Cheryl Cole focused on Her Singing Career

Cheryl Cole may be rubbing with the likes of Cameron Diaz now, but she has no plans of giving up her successful singing career anytime soon.

The singer is making her movie debut in What To Expect When Your Expecting! And guess what her role is? A talent show judge! She must have loads of practice of that!

"This was actually something
 I did for fun"
 Cheryl Explained.

She said at the premier of the show that she wanted to focus on her music career. Cheryl was only in the film for a short period of time, but she's bound to get more offers in films in the future!

Lady Gaga Cancels Gig

Lady Gaga is forced to cancel a sold out gig in Indonesia after hundreds of people protested against her performing there.

Some people there think that the 26 year olds shows are not suitable for children, and rightly so!
Protesters carried banners through the capital city of Indonesia, calling Gaga names like the 'Mother Monster'.
Indonesian police then denied the Paparazzi singer the right to perform in the country.

"I'm so sorry to the fans and am just as devastated as you if not more"
 Wrote Gaga on Twitter.

Song of the Week: Standing Still

The song of the Week is Standing Still by Roman Lob.
He actually performed this song at Eurovision 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan representing Germany. I just cant get this song out of my head, it's really top 40 material!
So check it out below and tell me what you think about it by commenting!
A really good song!

Diamond Jubilee Concert

So, as you all probably know, it's Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee. She has spent 60 years on the throne, so Gary Barlow has organised a Concert held in front of Buckingham Palace featuring the following AND more:

Jessie J and Will.I.Am, they sang I got a feeling together, then Jessie sang Domino by her self. Her stunning dress blew us all away!

Sir Elton John, he was really rocking that stage with his awesome voice and piano playing, not to mention his amazing pink glitter Jacket - I need one of them!

Ralph Harris, with his awesome self painted top, he made the audience laugh their socks off, such an entertaining fellow! He also performed his a cappella, and David Cameron the PM was singing!

Gary Barlow and Cheryl Cole, they both sang a beautiful song, a performance to remember!
Lenny Henry made the cloud roar with laughter, mainly for casually taking the mickey of the royal family!

Sir Tom Jones blew the crowd away with amazing husky voice and good looks!

Stevie Wonder, the AMAZING Stevie Wonder, with his indescribably good voice and extraordinary piano playing talent sang for the Queen, all the way from America! He also performed with Will.I.Am singing happy birthday!

Shirley Bassey sang Diamonds Are Forever! And with it being the Diamond Jubilee, the song was a really good choice!

Alfie Boe and Renee Fleming sang on the same balcony William and Kate kissed, their voices could have melted marble, such amazing opera!

Legendary Annie Lennox, in her amazing angel outfit blew the crowd away with her amazing voice and stage presence!

Ed Sheeran also performed at the concert - what a proud moment it must have been for him and his guitar!

Kylie Minogue sang with the dance group Flawless performing a really cool routine behind her - and
Sir Cliff Richard gave an extremely lively performance, making the crowd bob in admiration!
Madness gave by far the most memorable performance - I mean they were performing on top of Buckingham Palace, you can't get any better than that! Let's not forget to mention those breathtakingly realistic visuals being projected on every inch of Buckingham Palace - a night to remember! They sang their catchy song It Must Be Love, and they also sung some other well known songs!

JLS showed off their awesome dancing skills in honour of the Queen, obviously indicating that they are: PROUD TO BE BRITISH!!!

Sir Paul McCartney finished the concert with songs from the past, with colourful lights surrounding him  immediately bringing the crowd alive! You will always have that ability to impress, Paul!

But all of them where there for a good reason. To celebrate the Queen's 60 year reign!
20,000 people gathered in front of Buckingham Palace to celebrate this joyful moment. People from all round the world came to London to watch this concert (which makes me feel bad seeing that I live only a few minutes away and I'm just plain lazy and watching it on my TV screen!)

The celebrations finished with Prince Charles giving a rather amusing speech, a massive crowd singing the national anthem 'God Save The Queen' and the Queen lighting the last Beacon in the UK. Then came the unforgettable 4 minutes of colourful fireworks! It was as if the whole of London was a burst of colour!
Here are some photos capturing only some of the many outstanding performances:

A night to remember for the rest of eternity.
Truly Spectacular!

The queens face is everywhere, and did you know at one point I was standing about 10 minutes away from the Queen! It's time to get partying, wherever you are, so check out my friends blog at FUN STUFF 4 U.
