First Time Guide: Hollister isn't Expensive! (Gilly Hicks Too!)

Ok, so loads of people say that Hollister and Gilly Hicks are expensive brands, however I think it is a very reasonably price for something of such good quality compared to other brands. If you're a first time buyer, make sure to check out the clearance and the sales in these shops (there's always one, no matter how little or how many thinks are on sale.

This is a guide for those who are new to Hollister and GH who are reluctant to going in there due to the darkness, over-stench of perfume and the so called 'expensive prices'. Yes, I don't deny that some of the products are a little on the steep side of the money ladder, but you can find a things there as low as £3 (well they are pants (knickers) but still...).

Also, for those of you who are familiar to Hollister and GH, this can just be a way to prove to your friends that they are worth buying!

Lets compare: Sorry about the annoying format, blogger wouldn't let me put the pictures next to each other. The First is from GH and is only £13.90 in the sale, so be quick and buy it because it will soon be sold out! This pretty electric blue colour goes well with light washed skinny jeans or shorts, and is the key to any casual outfit. Just slip it on and you'll look like you've put a lot of effort in your outfit! Pair with Electric blue vans or toms. Even possible to wear with high tops :D

The 2nd is actually from Hollister and has bigger lines in black. Once again, these definitely go well with light shorts (distressed) and converses. Perfect for a windy but not quite cold enough to put a coat on day. To be honest, I find even one layer of GH or Hollister is enough to keep me warm on those windy days. This is also in the sale for £18.90, but then again GH has always been a tad cheaper than Hollister, but eh oh it's only a fiver difference if you think about it :D
This last jumper is from Lipsy (available at Lipsy and Next), and although it's not in the sale, if it was it still wouldn't go down to the price that GH and Hollister has on their sale items). This striped jumper is £35, yes, £35, and I'm not sure it'll even be as warm and as good quality as Hollister and GH products (p.s. I'm kind of getting tired of writing Hollister and GH so can I just say H and Gh?:)) There you are, this is one of the many examples that H and GH are somewhat cheaper than other brands.

Peeps, carry on reading below and I'll see what I come up with to write about GH and Hollister :D

Ok, I admit A&F isn't as cheap as H and GH are but then again the reason for this is... to be honest I don't actually know. I prefer shopping at H and GH rather than A&F as money doesn't grow on trees, plus I don't have an A&F near me, and A&F doesn't have a sale or clearance which kind of sucks. I advise you guys to check out all the stores and make your mind up about which one you prefer (although all of them have close designs, they have their differences) and when you decide which one you like (it may be all of them), save up to buy from there, it's worth it. If you want it, make sure you get it and nothing alike because you'll end up wanting what you wanted in the first place.

Basically, if you want more on this topic, then just comment below and I will!

:D
