Your Weekly Feed: Things to Know!

Hi Guys! Hows your days been? Or in some cases the dreadful exam week!  Nerve racking exams that make you lose most of your nails due to biting them - what good are they? But they are a part of life so we might as well just get on with them! Here are a few worries that some people have emailed me about exams:

Cherry, I'm scared about my exams, but i'm even more terrified about my parents getting the results! What do I do?
Well, to be honest you need to relax - at the end of the day it's just an exam, not the end of the world. Try not to think negative! You can do whatever you want to do! And about your parents - well if you have super strict parents that expect you to get 100% in every subject - then you're pretty much stuffed! If they are mocks or just pointless exams, then it doesn't matter what you get (but still try to aim high!). Just explain to your parents that the exam results mean nothing compared to your happiness and health! Also make a whole sob story if you want! If they are really important like GCSE's, A levels or whatever major exams you do in your country, then all I can say is your pretty much done for...:p

Cherry, I've tried my hardest but nothing seems to stick in my head! Any revision tips?
Hi! Here are some top revision tips:
1) Make funky revision cards! I actually published a post on it before! I was meant to upload a video as well but it didn't work! Oh well! You can still check out the post on the blog archive! They are really fun to make and so practical!
2) Revise with friends! Revising with friends is much more fun, enjoyable and most importantly memorable than revising by yourself! You can share knowledge and teach each other!
3) Revise in a quiet place with no distractions... for example a library. Try not to revise in a place where on your computer one of the tabs are youtube or BBC Iplayer! That will totally distract you and you dont want that!
4) Do not over revise! This is extremely important! If you over revise then you won't remember anything and will have a break down at the exams! Try and have at least 15 minute breaks every 45 minutes to keep you mind focused and fresh!

Bands, Music and stuff...

Have you heard of Hot Chelle Ray? They are an awesome band of talented boys - you should really check out their songs! They need to be more well known - especially the lead singer (ooh la la!).

Number 1 of the week?
Rita Ora RIP! I have to say this song grew on me - at first I found the chorus a bit bland but now it's constantly stuck in my head! Definitely check it out - you wont regret it!

TV for 10-14 year olds!
Below are a list of cool TV shows that you should definitely watch! I have only listed the channel that they are on in the UK - sorry if you live anywhere else! (some are babyish and some are for the more mature generation lol!)

Dani's House - 17 Year old wannabe actress Dani is constantly left incharge of her pestering little brother, but in the new series he rose to fame as a famous rapper and fullfilled his dreams (becoming a millionare). Follow Dani and her friends with her true love who she cant help always insulting, her friends which she drives away, hilariousness from the youngsters in the house! This is a really fun TV show probably for 8-13 year olds!

Wingin' it - Wingin‘ It is Family's series about a teenage odd couple. One half of the couple is Porter Jackson, a carefree sixteen year old Angel-In-Training (AIT) who has been sent to Earth to get his angel wings. The other half is Carl Montclaire, a fifteen year old typical high school kid who has been going through a run of bad luck. Little things seem to always be going wrong in Carl’s life. For Porter to get his angel wings, he’s been given the assignment of making Carl the most popular kid at Bennett High. It involves romance, comedy and magic! Everything you could ask for!
On CBBC

Mi High - Plot about teenage spies undercover in a school! Although the actual series has stopped, you can watch most of the episodes on YOUTUBE. Sometimes it can be unrealistic, but it's still fun to watch! I DEFINITELY recommend it more than anything (partly because I really like it!)

Blue Peter - Who can forget Blue Peter? On it's weekly episodes on Thursdays on the CBBC Channel, it gives you all the gossip, latest gadgets, music, coolest animals, arts and crafts and loads more that you should know for the week ahead! I always watch it and love it when guest stars such as Connor Maynard and Coverdrive come for an interview and perform! The fun loving hosts are fun to watch too, Helen Skelton and Barney Harwood! Not to mention the A-DOOOR-ABLEE dogs aswell! It's a definite MUST watch!

Book of the Month!
It definitely has to be what's hot right now  - you guessed it - it's 
THE HUNGER GAMES!
IT a great series of books following the fate of Katniss Everdeen as she fights to the death against 23 other people 12-18 year olds at the yearly Hunger Games! They have also released a popular film based on the book of the same name! You should definitely go and watch it, but I would first read the book (but thats my opinion! - if you want to go and see it first, see it!)

Fun thing to do : how to draw fake tattoos without them smudging!
All you need is:
A good quality pen
A rubber


STEP 1: Draw your desired design on your skin.
STEP: To avoid the pen smudging, gently dab on the work of art with the rubber. This will remove any excess pen that would smudge! DON'T rub the rubber on your skin or press too hard with it!


And there you have it! How to create the perfect fake tattoo!!!
